How to create an Alert manually

Unit21 allows agents to create alerts manually for impromptu investigations. These are alerts not triggered by a Rule or Verification Workflow.

A manually created alert has all the expected data associated with an alert generated by a rule or verification workflow.

1. Navigate to Alerts.
2. Click the + Create Alert button:

3. This will open a new page with information an agent must fill in to create a new alert:

4. Fill in the sections accordingly (at minimum, fill in the required information - items such as the checklist or documents can be added after the alert has been created):

5. When you are done, click the Create Alert button.
6. Success.
